A hands-on workplace safety campaign designed to help employees recognise and respond to electrical hazards at work and at home. Across four interactive booths and an immersive VR experience, participants explored real-world electrical risks, practised emergency response techniques, and walked away with the knowledge and confidence to stay safe around electricity every day.

Programme Overview

Home electrical safety essentials, overloaded sockets, faulty appliances, RCCB requirements, and fire prevention practices to keep homes shock-free

Data centre electrical hazards, including arc flash, thermal runaway, and high-voltage shocks, with real incident case studies to illustrate the stakes

Arc flash boundary identification and correct PPE selection, including a hands-on look at a Category 4 arc-rated suit

Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) procedures, distinguishing simple from complex scenarios through a hands-on challenge using a real LOTO box

Immersive VR training where participants navigated a virtual data centre environment to practise hazard spotting, PPE checks, and LOTO procedures safely

Emergency rescue techniques, including a live rescue hook demonstration, where participants practised pulling a victim dummy to safety
